My Story

Freelance WordPress Developer Ireland

Hi - I'm the freelance wordpress developer Ireland behind OnWebPoint. I've spent the last six years building WordPress websites that genuinely perform for Irish and international businesses. From Cork-based sole traders to Dublin-headquartered SMEs and Internationally performing websites, I've helped over 80 businesses establish a strong, competitive digital presence.

Before founding OnWebPoint, I worked agency-side across retail, healthcare, real estate, SaaS and education. That breadth means I understand not just WordPress, but the business contexts in which it operates.

I'm based in Cork, and work with clients across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Every project gets my full attention - I don't outsource, I don't use templates, and I don't cut corners.

"A website isn't a cost - it's an investment. Everything I build is engineered to deliver a real return."

How I Work

My Approach to Every Project

01
Business First, Code Second

I start every project by understanding your customers, your market, and your goals - before touching a text editor. A website that looks great but doesn't convert is just an expensive brochure.

02
Performance Is Non-Negotiable

95+ PageSpeed scores are the baseline. Core Web Vitals, server-side optimisation, and image delivery are baked into every build from day one - not retrofitted at the end.

03
No Shortcuts, No Bloat

No page builders. No copy-paste themes. No unnecessary plugins. Every line of code has a purpose - resulting in faster sites, simpler maintenance, and fewer security risks.

04
Transparent Communication

Weekly updates. No jargon. Clear timelines. If something changes, you hear about it from me directly - not after the fact. I treat your project like my own business.

05
Security Built In

WordPress is the most hacked CMS in the world - because most developers ignore security. I harden every build against common attack vectors from the very first commit.

06
I Don't Disappear After Launch

30 days of free post-launch support on every project. Monthly care plans available after that. I'm invested in your site's long-term success, not just the handover email.

"Our previous site did not reflect the level of work we do or the clients we work with. The new site does exactly that. The brief was understood from the first conversation, the process was straightforward, and the result speaks for itself. I would not hesitate to recommend OnWebPoint to any professional services firm that takes its digital presence seriously."
